CENGN, Canada’s Centre of Excellence in Next Generation Networks, has embarked on a national study to better understand the Canadian NGN ecosystem. The International Data Corporation (IDC), a world-renowned global market intelligence firm, was commissioned to complete this study.

This research was undertaken for a broad segment of stakeholders in the NGN ecosystem, including vendors, network operators, enterprise customers, and policymakers. The five chapters of this study are based on IDC’s ongoing Canadian and global research, preliminary interviews conducted for this study and extensive secondary sources that explore all facets of NGNs.
