We’ll be surrounded by 14 innovative tech entrepreneurs from the IO Ignition Program and ten female founders from the first ever IO Traction program.

This is a pitch finale you do not want to miss! Cohort 15 is ready to blow you away. You will be hearing from talented individuals creating tech businesses in industries like tourism, cleantech, health care and fashion, all using a mix of SaaS, Marketplaces and Hardware. At the end of their pitch, you will understand their “why” and the vision that drives their startup.

On top of that, these IO Ignition graduates are battling it out for the best pitch award as well as gaining your vote for Crowd Favourite. The stakes are high as this comes with an extra six months of one-on-one mentorship from our leading advisors!

The annual convention is held in Toronto, Canada. It has grown in size, stature and influence since it began in 1932 and today is the event of choice for the world’s mineral industry.

Created by Verizon and Centech, in collaboration with a local Canadian 5G provider, the 5G Development Hub provides startups and scaleups with a unique opportunity to realize the transformative power of 5G and Mobile Edge Compute (MEC). The program will work to unlock innovation in multiple industries including manufacturing and supply chain, transportation and smart cities, and energy and utilities.

Selected startups and scaleups will have the chance to integrate their solution on the local commercial 5G network and demonstrate their innovations to two of the largest network operators in Canada and the US.
