In the current rapidly changing tech environment, it is more important than ever for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to learn how to properly leverage Canada’s tech opportunities, so they can push their solutions to global markets! This week, Robert McMillan, Business Engineer Manager at CENGN, led an information session with Suthan Sivanesan, Business Development Manager at the Ontario Centre of Excellence (OCE), to advise innovative Canadian businesses on how to commercialize their tech solutions through a CENGN project.

To assist in Ontario’s tech business success, CENGN partnered with OCE to create The Next Generation Network Program (NGNP). The program grants SMEs across the province increased accessibility to our digital infrastructure. To facilitate the expansion of our services, CENGN has built partnerships with regional innovation hubs, like Communitech, who act as incubators and business accelerators, enabling tech companies to be successfully created and flourish. These innovation hubs are crucial parts of the tech community and are perfect organizations to ensure our services are reaching all the growing Canadian businesses who need it.
